can i use bonxtv with 2 cameras in my mac?
tanks!

You can have a free trial, just download from our website:

http://boinx.com/download/#boinxtv

The graphics card is not very powerful, so this might become a bottleneck, but it is best if you test by yourself with the free trial.

How are you planning to connect the 2 cameras? Unless I am mistaken this MacBook Pro model features 1 FireWire 800 port but no longer the Express card slot and not yet a Thunderbolt port.

You should be able to run 1 FireWire camera and 1 USB camera at the same time, given SD resolution is good enough for your purpose.

As Rudolf stated, the AMD Radeon HD 6490M with only 256 MB of VRAM is the bottleneck of that machine. The processor should be more than enough for running BoinxTV. Please give it a try using the free demo and report your findings. I am sure other users will also appreciate them.

Thanks,

ok! I understand,
so, can I use my thunderbolt port to connect the camera?
something like PCI express card.
i could use a Adaptador Sonnet Allegro FireWire 800

We don’t know yet. There is no such hardware available yet. Sonnet only announced these products but they didn’t release it yet. It should work though, theoretically.
