A movie of slow response to title text

I have recorded a short movie of what I consider slow response to creating a title. You can view it here:

(Apologies for calling it a “label” in the narration, I should say “title.”)

This shows a 1-2 second lag while duplicating (option-drag) a title, a 1+ second lag after double-clicking before the text is selected, and about 1 second lag response to input keystrokes.
