Use Canon EOS Rebel SL1 cameras

Hello, I want to know if it is possible to work on mimoLive using a Canon EOS Rebel SL1 camera, I have tried to connect it using a Canopus device but I have no results.

In order to use the Canon EOS Rebel SL1, you will need to do these things:

  1. Get an HDMI grabber like the Blackmagic Design UltraStudio mini Recorder, the Magewell USB Capture HDMI or the Elgato Cam Link.

  2. Then, you’ll need to find out how you can turn off the overlays that are displayed on the HDMI output of the Canon camera and also check how you can prevent it from turning off after a while.

  3. You will also need to get an HDMI cable that fits the Camera’s connector. There are several different sizes for HDMI connectors.

The Canopus is no longer supported as its drivers rely on functionality in the macOS that Apple has removed from the current releases.
